The Passover Haggadah
By Cyril (Yekutiel) Atkins
Passover is Coming
For the price of 50 sheets of A4 paper you can print out a copy of the Pesach Haggadah with explanations and a completely new commentary that explains much about the meaning of Passover and the Haggadah.
It explains why we make Kiddush and make blessings, and what they mean. What are the Four Questions really about and what do the Four Sons tell us about themselves and about ourselves. Why did the Rabbis in Bnei Braq stop their discussion on the Seder night? What is the “freedom” that the Exodus brought us? Is it politically correct to be called one of the “Chosen People” and what does it really mean? Why do we eat Matzah and Maror?
All these and much more in this commentary on the Haggadah. You are welcome to print it out and use it on Pesach at the Seder or at any other time. It is traditional to read part of the Haggadah on the Shabbat before Passover. That may be a good to time to look over it.
However, there are two conditions.
1) Please do not read it on the computer screen or print it out either on the Shabbat or on any Festival.
2) Celebrating Pesach and the Seder is incumbent on every Jew, most Synagogues have a fund for supplying the necessaries for Passover and the Seder to people who are in need and have difficulty in buying Passover necessities, this fund is known as “Kimche D’Pischa or Maot Chittin, I request that you donate money to this fund or to any other fund that supplies food to Jews in need, the address of which may be obtained from your nearest Jewish organization
The Haggadah is on 100 pages or so of A4 paper (50 sheets). Arrange your printer to print both sides of the paper so that page 2 is on.
